No-Run-First-Inning and First-5 projections for tonight's MLB slate, from a matchup-aware inning simulation over each game's real lineup and probable starter. These are model projections, not priced bets — no sportsbook odds are attached, so there are no edge figures here. For the concept, see the glossary; for the full board, the matchup center.
NRFI stands for No Run First Inning — a bet that neither team scores in the top or bottom of the first inning. YRFI (Yes Run First Inning) is the opposite: at least one run scores in the first.
It settles on the first inning only. If zero runs score across both halves of the 1st, NRFI wins; if any run scores, YRFI wins. Later innings don't matter for the bet.
A First-5-innings bet covers only the first five innings — typically the run total or the side — so it rides on the starting pitchers rather than the bullpens. It's popular when you trust the starters more than the relief.
BallBet runs a matchup-aware inning simulation over each game's real batting order and probable starters to estimate the chance of a run in the first and the First-5 run total. These are model projections, not priced bets — no sportsbook odds are attached, so no edge figures are shown.
